About me

From stage to stack.

A musician turned developer, bringing the same discipline and creative problem-solving from eight years of professional performance to building modern software.

After eight years as a professional musician performing on cruise ships worldwide, I discovered a deep passion for software development. The same skills that made me a strong musician — attention to detail, pattern recognition, working under pressure, and relentless practice — translate directly into writing great code.

I specialise in the TypeScript/JavaScript ecosystem, building full-stack web applications with React, cross-platform mobile apps with React Native and Expo, and backend services with Node.js, Express, and Supabase.

I'm based in London, UK and actively seeking junior developer roles where I can contribute to a team, learn from experienced engineers, and build products that make a difference.

Index Analytics

A Python / Flask backend with HTML / CSS / JS frontend for visualising and analysing sample stock market index data.

I built this project whilst researching for a job application, to demonstrate my ability to build a full-stack web application with Python and Flask.

Originally it was supposed to be a simple API only, but I decided to add a frontend to make it more user-friendly and visually appealing.
